UNLIMITED SALARY

When I was a child and began thinking of jobs and careers, my first thought was something I wanted to do with my heart. I wanted a career that was personally fulfilling. As a child, my concept of money was nonexistent. I knew I wanted to make more than my mother so I wouldn't have to live on welfare, or struggle to raise my children, but I had no idea what that would mean in dollars and cents. So right out of high school I joined the Army and gained financial independence from my parents. As a private in 2002 I remember making around $500 every two weeks. I knew it wasn't much, but it was more than I'd ever made and at that time the only bill I had was a phone bill.

As I was promoted to higher ranks I made more money. Then I obtained a four-year scholarship and became a Bachelor's prepared registered nurse. I doubled my income from $2500 a month as a sergeant to $5000 a month as a 2nd lieutenant. Life seemed GREAT financially. I bought my first house, started my family, bought our dream cars and were living the dream. As many of you know, once one dream is achieved a new, bigger dream develops and it doesn't take long to occur.

I started thinking about things bigger than material possession and explored the lifestyle I wanted to live. I realized I wanted to be my own boss, set my own hours, and go back to the work of my heart without the nightmares of limitations to the time I could spend with my family. I got promoted to Captain and my income continues to increase, but so does my responsibilities and sacrifices of family time. So I started looking for another way to match and supersede my current income, and found an opportunity where the amount I could make per month was strictly based on how much time and effort I put into. The solution was simple, entrepreneurship! I needed to begin my own business!
